Celebrating Troy's birthday

Troy got to celebrate his birthday for two days!  He was so excited about turning 4 and was so excited for his birthday.  He wanted to pick out his cake, so we went to Hy-Vee and he looked at picture after picture and finally decided on a Bubble Guppies cake. 

His birthday was on a Monday, so the Sunday before we had both sets of grandparents to our apartment.  It was a bit tight, but fun nonetheless, and it didn't matter to Troy where he opened his presents!  He loved opening everything, and he got some Paw Patrol cars, a John Deere toy and some "homework" supplies so he can sit with the kids and do homework, too.  Then that evening, after supper, he wanted ice cream and popcorn, so the birthday boy got what he wanted!
 

 

On Monday, the older kids had the day off of school, and it was a rainy day, so we ended up at Chuck-e-Cheese.  An added bonus- Papa had the day off, so he came with us!  They had a great time running around and playing the games, and we had the place almost to ourselves.  And those prizes they get at the end are totally worth all the money you spend in tokens ;).

 He loves playing with all of his new toys!  This is what he does for hours every day!
