Christmas

We had a great Christmas this year!  We spent time with family and had enough down time to relax and hang out too!  My sister and her son and two little foster girls came up to celebrate.  Unfortunately, Tony couldn't make it up because of work.  Joe's sister and three of her kids were able to come, but one of her kids was sick on Christmas day.  Joe's brother and his family could not make it up from Texas.  So, we got to see some family, but not everyone.

On Christmas Eve, we went to church in late afternoon.  After church, we returned to our house for our family Christmas.  Joe's parents and my parents come over to watch the kids open gifts and then we eat and hang out afterwards.  It is so fun and the kids love this day.

On Christmas morning, we went to Joe's parents house to celebrate with his family.  We opened gifts and then had a great lunch.

Then Christmas evening, we went up to my parents house to open gifts and have supper.  It was fun this year with my sister's two little sweet foster girls.

We did our annual puzzle that we do each year over break.  I am kind of a nerd, I look forward to this and get a little obsessed with getting the puzzle done!

And of course we went to some basketball tournaments and scrimmages, too!

Then on New Year's Eve, we spent the evening with our wonderful small group friends and kids.  It was a good time and us ladies may have taken over the karaoke machine :).  We watched the 11:00 ball drop and then made our way home.  Troy and Adria slept until 11:30 the next day!
