Basketball

We have been spending a lot of time in the bleachers for the past couple of months!  Tate and Adria are doing tournaments and scrimmages, and even Troy started this year with 4 practices.  He was pumped that it was his turn to have something!

Tate has a basketball tournament usually every weekend.  At one tournament at Denver, he got named on the all tournament team for 6th grade.  They recognized him at the end and he received a trophy.  Then he was in a free throw shooting contest and got first in the first round, so he advanced and placed second in the second round.  How fun for him!

Adria has been playing more this year and has had 3 Saturdays of scrimmages so far and practice every week.  She does well and I can see a lot of improvement on their team from the last year.  They even had the 5th grade girls participate in the Peach Basket tournament held at our school.  They did really well.
