First, back to Tate's birthday. We started the day with a birthday donut, and then he headed to a golf tournament. Later that night he had a baseball game, so he brought baseball cookies to celebrate. Then it was his favorite- opening gifts!

In June, our friends invited us and our other small group families up to their cabin in Minnesota to spend the weekend. It is becoming a yearly tradition and we have absolutely the best time. Our time up there this year was short, but we filled it with boating and being out on the water. Adria tried knee boarding and she was awesome at it! I love the families we were with so, so much!
We had to hurry home from our weekend in Minnesota so Joe could run the Sturgis half marathon. He did awesome and it was good training for the full marathon he is doing in October!
In July, we made our way down to my sister's house. I had not been to their new house yet, and was excited to spend time with them. Her new house has a pool, so we swam for a lot of our time there. It was so fun!

In July, we went with our friends to Adventureland for the day. This is our 3rd year going with this group and we have so much fun together! Next year, we are getting matching t-shirts made!
Other random pictures from summer:
My produce from my garden!! I am drowning in tomatoes right now. I also have gotten a few green peppers, cucumbers, and green beans. I love having a garden and have a whole new game plan for next year.
Miniature golfing one summer evening!
Tate fishing and caching a big one again! He has spent most of his summer fishing. Good thing he has a papa who will bring him to all these different fishing places!
It has been a fun summer so far. We have gone swimming a lot, and Troy has become a fish! After he learned that going under is not scary, and after he finished his swimming lessons, he is loving it! He wants to go all the time! There has also been a lot of playing outside with the neighborhood kids, and lots of staying up late playing the "night game" with them (basically, hide and go seek in the dark). And because they are staying up so late, there has been lots of sleeping in! Summer is winding down and I think the kids are ready for school to start back up again!
