Dear Tate.
You are 11 years old today! ELEVEN! You are such an awesome kid and have so many interest and hobbies. You bless our family and our lives so much!
Your favorite sport is any sport that is currently in season. Right now you love golf and baseball. This year you played flag football, soccer and basketball and loved all of those. You are a great runner (I'm not sure you love that, though).
Right now you are starting to get into clothes and care about what you wear. They are still sporty clothes, but you are particular and want certain things. I do have to tell you to change things up once in awhile since you tend to wear the same things over and over :). You still like your longer hair and don't want to cut it. And you think wearing jeans is dressing up. :)
Your summer days consist of getting up and playing outside all day. Literally, all day. You play golf, fish at the pond, play wiffle ball with the neighborhood kids, get on your scooter or bike and find some of your friends, or go to the pool. You don't love to go swimming, but will for a little while. You are enjoying your freedom of getting around town on your own and told me just the other day you are so glad we live in Parkersburg. You love going to the varsity baseball games and we have to drag you in at night. Then you sleep hard and start again the next day. I have said it before, one word to describe you: intense.
The one thing I love about you is your many, many hobbies and interests. You love to do everything and want to know everything about everything. And you try your hardest to do everything well. Sometimes your thousands of questions gets draining, but you want to know everything.
You still like to bother your brother and sister all the time. And we are still working on you being more mature in some situations, but I guess that will come with time. Hopefully.
