It's fun to be ONE!

Dear Troy,

Happy 1st birthday sweet baby boy!  We have been sooooo blessed this past year because of you.  One year ago today, we went to the hospital with such anticipation and excitement.  We didn't know if we were having a boy or a girl.  After waiting for labor to progress all day and a couple hours of the worst pain I have ever felt, you joined us in this world.  And I have enjoyed every single moment with you since you've been born.  Don't tell your brother and sister, but there is something about you being the third child/last child that is extra special.  Everyone is our family smothers you with attention, especially your brother and sister.

Things about you right now:

you love to eat and are eating almost all foods now

you are crawling around everywhere and love your toys

you like your pacifier

you are very, very heavy to carry around

you love stroller walks

you love your bed

you can clap your hands

you can wave good-bye

you can say "uh-oh"

you can be perfectly fine one minute and then when mommy comes in the room, start whining instantly

you don't like your brother and sister bothering you and trying to pick you up all the time

you go crazy when we Skype someone

Tate can make you laugh all the time

you love bathtime

you hate grocery shopping

you sleep like a champ

you make very weird faces

you are a very clean eater- you don't even have to wear a bib and don't spill anything on the floor
you weigh about 22 pounds
you have 4 teeth

We are looking forward to another year filled with firsts for you.   Everyone loves you so much and you bring so much joy to our days.  Happy birthday little boy!
