Joe is super busy with his class and writing papers for it. Ughh. I can't wait for it to be done so I can have my husband back.
I went on a day trip to Savannah with two of my girlfriends. We ate our way through Savannah and of course ate at Paula Deen's. We did some shopping and eating and had a great time with each other. Savannah is officially my favorite place down here.
Tate and Adria both had their fall parties at school. Adria was excited to say the least. She still is lovin' school more than anything. And she is really into hair "extensions", like purple and hot pink hair pieces you clip to your hair. It's cute.
Tate had a fundraiser at school called the fun run. It is where the students get pledges and then run laps for the pledges. You can either do a flat pledge or pledge per lap. We pledged per lap for him. The max laps you can run is 35, but most students run between 20 up to 35. The kids get a T-shirt and every time they complete a lap (which is 1/16th of a mile), they get a mark on their shirt. They did fun things throughout the race like skip a lap, or walk a lap or hold hands a lap. Not Tate, though. This was a serious race for him and he ran the whole thing and completed 35 laps (actually more because we saw that sometimes they didn't mark his shirt)! That kid is the most competitive kid I have ever seen. Everything is about being first and being the best. Sometimes that is a good trait to have, and other times it is like just chill out a little bit and have fun. So now we owe $35.
Troy is a crawling machine and pulling himself up and walking around furniture. I can see his 5th tooth coming in. We are switching him to whole milk and he doesn't seem to like it as much as formula. And his diapers are showing it!
Here are some pictures of the kids picking out their pumpkins and pumpkin carving time!
